RYA Courses
Bromsgrove Boaters is affiliated to the RYA, the governing association for sailing in the UK.
We identify opportunities for members and enquirers to take the RYA First Aid Course . This needs to be renewed every three years. We also identify SRC (VHF) courses. Contact the Training Officer to register an interest.
Bromsgrove Boaters Ltd encourages members to take up the formal RYA Cruising qualifications and develop their skills in order to improve their skills as crew, and possibly progress to be mates and skippers on our charters. These qualifications include:
First Aid
Marine VHF Radio Short Range Certificate Course
Sea Survival
Competent Crew
Day Skipper
Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore
Diesel Engine Maintenance
