Welcome to Bromsgrove Boaters

We are an RYA affiliated offshore cruising club whose aim is to encourage as many people as possible to share our passion to get out onto the water and take up coastal sailing. As a club we welcome everyone from experienced sailors who want to do more sailing to people with no experience at all who want to try sailing on yachts.

We normally hold social events monthly on the third Wednesday of the month at Bromsgrove Rugby Club, B60 3DH, 7.30 meet, event start at 8.00.   Visitors welcome (£5  cash fee).  We try to provide a programme of external and internal speakers and activities.  There is ample parking at the club and a bar. See below for the current programme.

We organise various week long,  short midweek (Monday-Thursday) and  long weekend (Thursday-Sunday) yacht charters on the Solent or from Plymouth, mainly in the spring and autumn. These boats are skippered and crewed by members . See below for current dates. We make other charters depending on demand.

The club does not directly provide RYA training but can source RYA First Aid and SRC (VHF) for members and enquirers. We aim to provide sailing opportunities and experience to complement the RYA cruising qualification programme.  Contact the Training Officer.
