Meet the club’s directors & committee for 2023-24 below. Most committee members are taking on more than one role due to the lack of volunteers – if you think you can help, please contact the committee.


	Chris Palmer Club Commodore clubcommodore@bromsgroveboaters.co.uk Treasurer treasurer@bromsgroveboaters.co.uk Chris has been cruising since the 90s, mainly in the Blackwater in Essex, where he owned his own boat for a while, but also on the south coast, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and the Mediterranean. He is an RYA Coastal Skipper and has been in Boaters since 2016.
	Charles Hessey Cruising Secretary and Safety Officer cruising@bromsgroveboaters.co.uk Charles has been sailing for 15 years plus, regularly covering over 1000 Nm a year. He is a skipper for BB charter weekends and has organised Corfu charter trips. While he does race his own boat he admits to rarely troubling the podium in regatta sailing, unless it is in his home waters, but do ask him about the major trophy he won when the wind really blew in his favour!
